This Gap campaign is basically a "Who's Who?" of modeling. All the current supermodels are featured. Not only that, a good number of their solo shots include their names in the ad. I like that. I feel like it acknowledges the individuality of the models (despite them all wearing the most generic of clothes), and using superstars like Abbey Lee and Isabeli along with lesser known models like Lais and Jasmine democratizes them. I'm assuming the bigger named models earned a lot more, but in terms of representation, Gap gets an A for effort from me. While it's not high fashion, I like that it features models of Latin American, East Asian, African and European descent, as well as openly queer models.
