It's driving me nuts that I can't pin down exactly which piece is what. The red "fish scale" top looks so much like Prada, but Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs also did a lot of that in their F/W 11 collections. I feel like I've seen it everywhere, and yet I can't track it down. Frustrating! The button-up western style shirt has a print that makes me think Givenchy, but the tackiness of it could also be Cavalli. The only thing I"m sure of is Mary Katrantzou outfit with the lamp shade skirt, although there's a lot of similarity between her stuff of some Givenchy stuff as well. (I hate all of it, for the record, but it was fun to see).
it's funny, because when I look at Mary Katrantzou in The Room, I wonder just what kind of client would buy that stuff. I can only picture it on a hanger in a white room, where it's the centrepiece, so seeing it in a video was interesting.
1. I love the song.
ReplyDelete2. I recognize some of the fashions but I can't id them. So sad.

I agree . . . with the majority of your points. I think.
